A top to toe body workout that combines fitness and Pilates method. Using simple props like elastic bands, foam rollers, overballs, we will transform familiar exercises and stretching in to something new and challenging.
PILATES ON THE BALL
Putting your gravity-bound body against a mobile ball requires balance, and balancing recruits many of the body's deep stabilising muscles (like the pelvic floor muscles). Exercising these muscles can prevent the most common injuries of the back, knee or shoulder.
A mixed level Pilates matwork class suitable for intermediate students.
The class covers 50 minutes of Pilates exercise followed by a 10 minutes relaxation period with music.
Aimed at enhancing physical posture, anatomical alignment whilst utilising props, this class is suitable for all levels.
It will improve balance, strength and flexibility and is excellent for stress relief and relaxation.
